Welcome to Leones E-Notary Services (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, booking platform, and all services we provide. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Scope of Services
We provide the following services (collectively, the “Services”):
- Remote Online Notarization (RON): Notarial acts performed by Florida-commissioned online notaries via secure audio-video technology.
- Apostille & Authentication Facilitation: Coordination with government authorities to obtain apostilles or authentications for eligible documents.
- Document Translation: Human and/or technology-assisted translation between English and Spanish, with optional certification.
Nothing in these Terms creates an attorney-client relationship. We do not provide legal advice.
2. Eligibility and Compliance
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services.
- You must provide valid identification and all information requested truthfully and completely.
- You are responsible for ensuring your documents are eligible for notarization, apostille, or translation under applicable law.
- You agree not to use our Services for any fraudulent, unlawful, or misleading purpose.
3. Booking, Fees, and Payments
- Services must be scheduled through our online platform.
- Prices are displayed at booking and are subject to change without prior notice.
- Standard fees include one notarial seal and one signer. Additional seals, signers, translations, or apostille requests will incur additional charges.
- Payments are processed securely through third-party processors (e.g., Shopify, PayPal, or Stripe). We do not store payment card details.
- You are responsible for any taxes, government fees, or third-party charges related to your transaction.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
- Grace Period: If a signer or required witness does not appear within 5 minutes of the scheduled appointment, it will be considered a no-show, and fees are non-refundable.
- Rescheduling: You may reschedule with at least 48 business hours’ notice. Rescheduling within 48 business hours may result in a $15 disruption fee.
- Cancellations: Appointments canceled within 48 business hours are subject to a $15 cancellation fee.
- Refunds: Fees are non-refundable once a notarial act, apostille request, or translation has been performed. Refunds are only granted at our sole discretion.

5. Apostille and Translation Disclaimers
- Apostilles: Processing times, acceptance, and final approval are controlled by state or federal authorities. We cannot guarantee deadlines or outcomes. We are not responsible for delays, rejections, or mailing errors caused by government agencies.
- Translations: Certified translations are provided upon request. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee legal sufficiency unless explicitly certified. Clients remain responsible for verifying that translations meet the requirements of the requesting authority.
6. Remote Online Notarization Compliance
- Our notarial acts are performed under Florida Statutes Chapter 117 and other applicable laws.
- All sessions are conducted via secure audio-video technology, and recordings may be retained as required by law.
- You consent to being recorded during the notarization session.
- We may refuse service if your document, identification, or situation does not comply with law or notarial standards.
7. Client Responsibilities
By using our Services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful information and valid identification.
- Ensure that you have the legal right and authority to request the notarial, apostille, or translation service.
- Review your documents promptly after service and notify us of any issues within 3 business days.
8. Intellectual Property
- All content on this website, including logos, graphics, text, software, and media, is the property of Leones E-Notary Services or its licensors.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written permission.
- You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use our Services for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Interfere with the website’s security, servers, or networks.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee:
- That Services will meet your requirements or deadlines.
- That apostilles or translations will be accepted by third parties.
- That our website will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service.
- We are not responsible for delays, errors, or failures caused by government agencies, postal carriers, technical issues, or client negligence.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Leones E-Notary Services, its owners, agents, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or violation of law.
13. Third-Party Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. You use third-party services at your own risk.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida.
- Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.
- You agree to waive any right to a jury trial in connection with disputes arising under these Terms.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this website. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
